Victorian Brown Chintz Godwin Jug - Staffordshire

  • ITEM - Nice shaped Jug
  • DATE - c1834 - 66
  • PATTERN - Scion - Brown with Chintz
  • MAKER / ORIGIN - John & Robert Godwin
  • SIZES - 7 ¾ inches to the tip of the handle ( highest point) and 7 ¾ inches from lip to handle
  • Good size and shape jug - sheet pattern transfer then hand painted flowers and leaves
    Condition of Item
  • On small chip or slither approx. ½ inch in length on the rim edge - not really seen until you look closely
  • There is a factory flaw on the base but it has been glazed so would have left the pottery maybe as a second
