  • PATTERN - Black Ground with Famille Rose Enamels and Terracotta
    coloured bandings - the underneath are patterned underglaze blue marbling
  • MAKER / ORIGIN - Marked DAVENPORT in the marbling pattern on
    the base
  • SIZES - About 7 ¼inches high the base is 4 ¼ inches across
  • A really lovely pair of candlesticks the colouring of the enamels used is still very
    vibrant and makes them very eye catching items
    Condition of Item
  • Minor flaking of the black ground - this is a common occurrence on ground coloured items - due to the technique used of applying over a glazed base
  • No cracks, chips or restoration to either candle-stick
