Woods Ware Blush Small Biscuit Barrel - Unusual

  • ITEM - Small Biscuit Barrel with silver plated rim, handle and cover - not preserve as there is no opening for the spoon in the cover which you usually get with
    the Jam barrels or sugar barrels
  • DATE - Registration number dates from 1895 but the mark is slightly later
  • PATTERN - Floral patterning bright colours on a cream and blush
    ground - possible pattern number hand painted on the base B694X, very ornate Silver Plated Rim and Cover
  • MAKER / ORIGIN - Woods Ware
  • SIZES - 3 inches high to the silver plated rim, about 4 ¾ inches high to the finial on the cover and 5 ¼ inches across the plated rim
  • Nice unusual size good colouring and very ornate silver plated fixtures
    Condition of Item
  • There is some crazing which has come with age this can mainly be seen inside and to the underside of the base
  • No damage and no restoration
