Unusual Blue Crown Devon Footed Bowl Fielding

  • ITEM - Footed Bowl with Silver Plated Rim
  • MAKER / ORIGIN - S. Fielding - Crown Devon
  • PATTERN - Blue Poppies ( I think ) with gold tube lining and gold
    sponging around them - the rim and base are cobalt blue pattern embossed and some
    traces of gold highlights - it is hard to make out the pattern number but I think it is X958
  • DATE - c1891
  • SIZES - Approximately 4 ¾ inches in height and 7 inches across the top the base measures 4 ¼ inches across
  • I haven't come across this sort of design in Crown Devon before so would be
    interested to know if it has a pattern name
    Condition of Item
  • Very nice condition - with no damage or restoration to the piece
  • The plated rim is a little worn but nothing too bad
