Large Late Victorian Moustache Cup & Saucer

  • ITEM - Moustache Cup & Saucer
  • DATE - c1891/ 1900
  • PATTERN - Rose Pattern on side the other side says ( I think ) “Present from
    Penrhiwceiber “ - Penrhewcieber is in the Cynon Valley .The nearest town is Mountain Ash and Aberdare is further up the Valley . It used to be in the county on Glamorgan but the counties are now restuctured and it is in Rhondda Cynon Taff
  • MAKER / ORIGIN - Probably made in Germany from the colours that have been used and the gold patterning
  • SIZES - :-
  • The Cup is 3 ¼ inches high and 4 ½ inches across including the handle
  • The Saucer is about 6 ½ inches across
  • Large size very bright colouring and delicate Rose pattern
    Condition of Item
  • No damage and no restoration
  • Some wear on the gold
