Early Flow Blue Polychrome Jug a/f

  • ITEM - 8 Panelled Jug
  • DATE - c1845
  • PATTERN - Persiana ( pattern name on base)
  • MAKER / ORIGIN - Charles Meigh although unmarked as to maker
  • SIZES - 6 ¾ inches high and 7 inches across from lip to handle
  • Not in the best of conditions but a very nice decorative piece
    Condition of Item
  • Unfortunately the jug has sustained some damage over the years
  • There is a small chip to the underside on the tip at the base of the handle ( not really seen)
  • There is a small chip to the inner part of the rim - less than ½ inch across
  • There is a very fine hairline running down the back about 3 ½ inches long and this is under the line of the handle -
  • I have tried to photograph it as best I can but as it is very fine and where the handle line is - it was not too easy
  • All the above are restorable but for a nice early jug for display this will fit in nicely
  • All the colours are still very vibrant
