Flow Blue & Copper Lustre Relief Moulded Tankard

  • ITEM - Beautiful Relief Moulded Mug or Tankard
  • DATE - c1850
  • PATTERN - Sometimes known as the Empress of India Parade - it
    depicts wonderful elaborate coaches one drawn by Elephants and one by Camels, the
    top of the handle has a small berry as a thumb rest and to the bottom of the handle there
    is a leaf, moulded vines around the top of the tankard are highlighted in deep Copper Lustre and the Copper Lustre is then used to highlight the patterning around the foot of the tankard
  • MAKER / ORIGIN - Unmarked and unknown as to maker but is definitely English so probably one of the better Staffordshire Potteries - the only mark
    on the bottom it 22 in pink lustre
  • SIZES - 3 ½ inches high and 5 ½ inches across including the handle
  • Wonderful size for use or display and will only enhance any collection
    Condition of Item
  • This piece is in very nice condition with no damage and no restoration
