Flow Blue Season's Jug - November

  • ITEM - Large Jug - Black Transfer depicting November - I think one of
    a series either of the months of the year or the seasons of the year
  • DATE - c1851
  • PATTERN - November
  • MAKER / ORIGIN - Unknown - could be Brownfield - there is a registration diamond but it is not clear
  • SIZES - 9 inches to the tip of the handle and about 7 inches across from lip to handle inclusive
  • Great moulded detail all highlighted with flow blue - wonderful size and unusual
    subject
  • Very reminiscent of the jugs made for the Great Exhibition of 1851 - with the black transfer and flow blue
    Condition of Item
  • A couple of tiny flakes of the glaze under the lip
  • Apart from the item mentioned there is no damage and no restoration to the piece
