Flow Blue Bluebell / Royal Lily Platter

  • DATE - c1845
  • PATTERN - Mainly known as Bluebell but the correct name could be Royal
    Lily - I have documentation of Blue Bell by Ridgway and it is not the same pattern - I also
    have a piece of the 'blue bell' pattern that is marked Royal Lily which is the same as this
    piece - very confusing I know !!
  • MAKER / ORIGIN - Impressed mark W R & Co. for William Ridgway
  • SIZES - 10 inches by 8 inches
  • A very pretty little piece in a well collected pattern whether you call it Blue Bell or
    Royal Lily it will look great in any display
    Condition of Item
  • The glaze and colour on this piece is very good - some wear to the gold only to be expected
  • There is a small glaze surface chip on the edge under ½ inch in width - easy to have filled if you did not want to live with it as is
