Flow Blue Bluebell - Royal Lily Serving Dish

  • ITEM - Beautiful shaped serving dish
  • DATE - c1845
  • PATTERN - Royal Lily or Bluebell in flow blue with some gold
  • MAKER / ORIGIN - Possibly Ridgways although Swansea Potteries were known to also use this pattern this piece has no clear marks as to maker
  • SIZES - 10 ¾ inches in length 8 ½ inches across at the widest point
  • A lovely flow blue highlighted with gold around the rim and on the handle - the handle has embossed decoration around it
  • Wonderful size and colour for use or display
    Condition of Item
  • There is some wear to the gold which is only to be expected
  • There is a small glaze pop to the centre of the dish - shown in the photographs
  • There is a small GLAZE chip on the underside rim, you can also see the camera has picked up a craze line near this area - this is in the glaze and does not go through to the front - you can judge from the pictures the chip does not affect
    the pattern side of the piece as it is only a glaze chip and very shallow - it could be filled very easily if you cannot live with it as it is
  • Apart from the small flaws mentioned there is no other damage and no restoration
