Flow Blue Covered Vegetable Tureen SOLD

  • ITEM - Covered Vegetable Tureen
  • DATE - c1891
  • PATTERN - Florida (without gold)
  • MAKER / ORIGIN - W H Grindley
  • SIZES - Approximately 5 inches to the top of the handle on the cover, the base is 12 inches handle to handle and 7 inches across
  • A very pretty pattern in a good flow blue -
    Condition of Item
  • Minor crazing that comes with age - mainly to be seen on the inside of the base
  • Pin head glaze nick on the rim of the cover similar to a tiny glaze pop
  • The glaze has taken unevenly around the rim of the base and the rim of the cover - this does not detract and is a flaw of the factory
  • The 2 pieces are in very nice condition for their age and apart from the very minor item mentioned there is no damage or restoration to either piece
